Prime Intellect Releases Prime Mega MoE: Trainable Fused MoE Kernel, 3.11x Faster Forward Pass

Prime Intellect has released Prime Mega MoE, a training extension of DeepSeek’s fused Mega MoE kernel. DeepSeek’s kernel only ran the forward pass. Prime Intellect added a fast, overlapping backward pass. That makes the fused kernel usable for training, not just inference. In its prime-rl trainer, full training steps on Qwen3 MoE models run up to 34% faster. Against TorchTitan, the gain reaches 55%. For teams training mixture-of-experts (MoE) models, that is a direct cut in GPU hours.

TL;DR

  • Size: A GPU kernel, not a model. Tested on Qwen3-30B-A3B and Qwen3-235B-A22B (128 experts, top-8 routing).
  • Runs on: NVIDIA Hopper

Building intent-driven UI testing with Amazon Nova Act

Building intent-driven UI testing with Amazon Nova Act

To scale intent-driven UI testing across its product teams, Epsilon, a data, technology, and marketing-services company and part of Publicis Groupe, turned to Amazon Nova Act. With hundreds of millions of consumer profiles and thousands of brand relationships, Epsilon needed UI testing that could keep pace with rapid application changes. The solution could not create maintenance overhead for every product team.

Within Epsilon, the Agentic Platform team (50 engineers) builds shared infrastructure so other product teams can build, deploy, govern, and run AI agents safely. With this shared platform, teams get a skills-based agent builder. They also

How Developers Turn Ideas Into Simulations With Frontier AI Agents

How Developers Turn Ideas Into Simulations With Frontier AI Agents

Turning a simulation idea into a working application means assembling assets, connecting physics and rendering, and checking that the scene behaves as intended. Developers are combining frontier AI models with NVIDIA Omniverse libraries to help carry out that work — building applications for exploring scenarios, investigating failures and improving designs.

Developers direct AI agents through natural-language instructions, review results and guide changes. Omniverse libraries provide GPU-accelerated physics, rendering and sensor simulation capabilities.

Explore the projects below to see frontier AI models such as GPT-6 Astra at work, and check back for new examples from NVIDIA teams and developers across the

From CUDA to MLX: How K-Search Brings Decades of Kernel Expertise to Apple Silicon – The Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research Blog

Kernel knowledge transfer from CUDA to MLX

Figure 1: CUDA-to-MLX optimization translation map. CUDA optimization knowledge can be translated into architecture-native MLX strategies rather than copied instruction-for-instruction.

We face a new epoch in computing. Hardware is changing rapidly — not just faster GPUs, but a growing range of chips from different vendors, each with its own architecture and often tailored to specific AI workloads. Software is changing just as fast, and AI coding tools now generate in minutes what took months of effort a few years ago.

Trump declares robot imports a national security threat

Trump declares robot imports a national security threat

President Donald Trump has declared the imports of foreign-made factory robots to be a national security threat—ordering new US negotiations with trading partners while holding out the possibility of imposing new tariffs on such robot imports in the future.

Issued on October 28, Trump’s presidential proclamation represents heightened government scrutiny of foreign-made industrial robots that could complicate the manufacturing operations of major US corporations that rely on such robots. Those companies include Detroit automakers General Motors and Ford, electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla, and aerospace and defense giants like Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

Introducing Gemini 4 Carbon

Introducing Gemini 4 Carbon

Today, we’re announcing the next frontier model: Gemini 4 Carbon, our strongest model with state-of-the-art cybersecurity and long horizon capabilities.

Carbon ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index at 59. It shows significant gains across coding and agentic tasks as well as across key capabilities critical for cybersecurity defense, landing a firm lead in SEC-bench Pro (88.2%) for finding vulnerabilities, ExploitGym (54.8%) for exploitation, and CWE-bench (71.0%) for patching. On internal benchmarks, Carbon drives a strong uplift in generating secure code, and in live coding environments with our own teams it shows reduced misalignment and
